Wandering When I Can
Recording my realistic adventures around the world.

Welcome to my blog
I love exploring the world. However, travel has to fit in with my 9-5 job, renting a flat, and spending time with family and friends.
I set up this blog to record my adventures around the world that take place within my annual leave allowance, a realistic budget, and snatched pockets of time.
I would love to say that I quit my job at 25 years old, packed up my bags, and galavanted around the world. Honestly, the dream. Instead I took some time to go travelling a couple years ago, spent 10 months exploring Europe, Asia, and Australasia, and then returned home to start a new job.
Since then, I’ve had itchy feet, escaping the cloudy UK in search of new experiences whenever I can.
I can’t promise jet setting 365 days a year. Instead, I will write about my realistic adventures that didn’t require me to quit my job and abandon all my belongings.
I hope you enjoy my small corner of the travel blogging world!
